I’ve been doing this for about seven years now and I’ve had so many people decline to do Solar because they were skeptical about everything from the savings to the equipment to whatever.

 

The bottom line is that most of us have already spent thousands and thousands of dollars over the years paying our electric bills with nothing in return except some lights and some AC. It was rented, but it was never owned.

At least today you have a choice in how you pay for electricity. You can pay for it one time through purchasing solar, taking advantages of the incentives given to you and increase the value of your home by giving it the equipment it needs to generate its own electricity.

 

But even if you’re not in the position to purchase the solar and take advantage of the state and federal incentives… you can now get solar put on your roof for no money out of your pocket other than to pay the “rent” to somebody else rather than Ameren and still save thousands of dollars over the years.

 

Here’s the thing. You really do have choices. The only thing keeping you from looking into this is the fear of the unknown. And there is a very old saying that you have nothing to fear but fear itself.
